About Brook Ramsey Healing Arts

I have a deep love and fascination in health and understanding the way the body works. I began a journey of health exploration working assisting physical and occupational therapists. I took great joy in this opportunity of expanding my understanding of body mechanics. I have had the privilage to get to work alongside a phenomenal healer and chiropractor well adept in muscle testing which lead me into the realm of bodywork. Within my time at the Healing Arts and Massage School in Raleigh I became fascinated and drawn to the ancient wisdom within Thai massage and Aschiatsu. I have enjoyed refining my Thai techniques with overlapping experience from other movement disciplines.

I am a dancer, a runner, and a yogi. I love these practices of tuning into oneself or as with dance into another, and finetuning these awarenesses. I actively seek to expand my understanding of the world of health and life through learning and through creativity, expiramentation, and adaptation.

My focus and goal in life is to be of the highest service here whatever that may look or however life may shift, and to be actively present and in gratitude wherever I am and whatever the moment holds. I enjoy listening and reading about training and rewiring the mind to be able to navigate life’s challenges with ease and an open heart, and I enjoy reading about books that offer potential evidence and interesting information on afterlife. I enjoy this because I enjoy the act of believing in something that can root me in purpose and help me see how valuable and special and unique our experience here is.

My first found interest and a lifelong passion of mine is art. I create large paintings and have been exhibited in galleries through many areas of Northern Florida and have painted several large-scale murals. I create dreamlike paintings with realistic portraiture that share in the emotions and explorations of my pondering.
